EDUCATION IS THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON WHICH YOU CAN USE TO CHANGE THE WORLD – NELSON MANDELA
Children study the six major world faiths throughout the School – learning about each religion individually, as well as exploring shared themes and values. Our pupils are given opportunities to use drama to create re-enactments of religious practices or stories as a way of reflecting on personal and spiritual experiences. Food and music are especially popular ways of learning about a variety of religious festivals.
Visits are made to places of worship to see faith in practice and to meet members of local faith communities. In addition, the School welcomes local religious leaders to talk to classes or the entire school community.
